With the week coming to a close- one fraught with testing, math, and more testing. Students participated in pre-tests designed to 1)show how far along they are in terms of math knowledge overall, and 2)to determine the extent of their 6th grade mathematics knowledge. With that behind us, we can settle back into our normal routines- checking homework, applying new math skills, and watching videos of Mr. K teaching math and acting silly.
We'll continue our study of fractions, decimals, and percents; specifically, how to order and compare them. Since the textbook provided does not always contain the best information regarding what we need to learn, I sometimes go elsewhere for knowledge. An example of that can be found below; it was used in class, and it can be used at home for review!
