Oh, and have some fun in the snow!
Be safe, tk
I am not going to bother to predict how this week will end...so, the homework calendar (main page) will be updated if/when we are in school. While you're home, why not study your BLUE BOOK- the SOL 6.11 section, do some research on Cartesian coordinate planes and Rene Descartes, and do some homework...

Hi everyone! A new week...the coordinate plane (SOL 6.11) awaits! Though this week is short (4 days), with some testing in there as well, we are going to spend some time playin games, practicing grid plotting, and reviewing key concepts from months past. See the Google calendar for details. Notes: Bring a Battleship game to class on Friday! (if you have one...don't worry if you don't have one; you can make one in class if necessary) Videos will be viewed in class this week; however, they're posted below for convenience! SOL 6.10 Re-Test: Wednesday Benchmark #2 Module Test (students will take test based on weaknesses on the second benchmark) Good day! We're beginning a unit related to inequality graphing (SOL 6.20), wherein we'll use number lines, symbols, and maybe a little algebra to make some important math connections. See the homework calendar on the main page for details on assignments due. While there are opportunities for confusion in this standard, many students see the similarities between inequalities and equations as a way to better understand inequalities. Check out the video below for more information. It will be used in class this week! In addition, we will check out the Khan Academy link below for practice and information. https://www.khanacademy.org/math/cc-sixth-grade-math/cc-6th-expressions-and-variables/cc-6th-inequalities/v/inequalities-on-a-number-line |
