Today, an announcement was made to let you know I've accepted a promotion to the school board office. While my duties as a science instructional specialist will take me to many schools, I will always consider my Yeates students, faculty, and staff my other family, that I will continue to support and assist, even in my physical absence.
Mrs. Gardner, a long-term substitute teacher with whom I have worked for many years, will work with your class until a permanent teacher is hired. Mrs. Gardner will utilize my plans and resources, working with Mrs. Pettit and the rest of the math faculty to give you the best experience possible. As a trusted member of our faculty at Yeates for several years as our Algebra Readiness teacher, she has my utmost confidence as someone who will work hard to serve all students.
Please feel free to contact me with your math-related questions and needs. I am here to help...I'm just not in the classroom! Contact information is located on the syllabus given at the beginning of the year.
Please use the following resources to prepare for the upcoming SOL test, in the near future. I wish you the best of luck. If I can provide any support, advice, or feedback about your studies, please feel free to contact me at your convenience. I have also emailed all students a set of review resources that can be used for all math topics; it will be helpful especially during the springtime as SOL testing nears.
Note: This email has been sent to student Google mail address. See a library media specialist for assistance in accessing your account for the first time (firstnamelastname+last four digits of student ID@spsk12.net).
