Hey everyone!
Congratulations, students AND parents! The first week of school is the most hectic time of year- new schedules, routines, procedures, and expectations...and YOU'VE MADE IT! Thanks for your help in making it a great success.
This next week, we will work on building positive routines in learning, conduct, and assessment, so that the rest of the year can be spent engaged in math content. I look forward to developing a plan of study that brings in technology, high expectations, and collaboration- with your child's needs and interests in mind!
M6 Students should watch the following videos for their class (SOL 6.1- Ratios). Take notes, show them to me in class (or, by end of day). IF STUDENTS CANNOT WATCH VIDEOS, THEY MAY SEE ME ON MONDAY FOR MY IN-SCHOOL VIDEO SESSION, HELD IN MY ROOM AT LUNCHTIME. This is done to accommodate students without access at home and/or cannot get access elsewhere.
Upcoming Events:
SOL 6.1 Quiz- Wednesday, 9/14
Multiplication Quizzes: Fridays in September (Advice: use flash cards, play games, etc to improve math fluency!!!)
Math 6 Pre-Test- Sept 20th
