Hey everyone!
Thanks for stopping by! We're currently studying the graphing of inequalities (SOL 6.20), and even touched on the solving of simple inequalities (which could be considered the next logical step past SOL 6.18, and is helpful for all students!). While copious notes and examples are shared in class, please consider the resources below as you're studying- every little bit helps!
We used the following sites during our recent BYOD session (more info about THAT below):
www.mathwords.com
www.sosmath.com
www.math.com
www.mathsisfun.com
www.virtualnerd.com
www.khanacademy.org
This week's video (is that a ghost I hear at 4:23?)

BYOD News!
JYMS is piloting a BYOD4L (bring your own device for learning) program for Suffolk Public Schools! Since my classes have been doing this for a long time now, this shouldn't be a surprise, but the documents below are formal indications of this program. Should you have any questions that aren't answered by these documents, please contact me at your convenience. (Note: students were given this memo on Monday, February 8th to bring home).
Please note: While most/nearly all BYOD sessions will be announced, there may be times when one is conducted spontaneously, per need and situation. In any event, students are to use, carry, and store their devices in a manner consistent with established rules and procedures.
