Hey everyone!
I hope you're having a great week! The month of November is an interesting one...there is not a full week of classes in it! One of those reasons...parent/teacher conferences, which will be held on Wednesday, November 18th. I will be available for brief conferences on that day; if you'd like to schedule something a little longer, please contact me at your convenience so we can set up a date and time.
Mathwise, we're beginning a unit on Exponents (SOL 6.5), which will be a sort of break for students from the rigor of fraction operations and methods we've studied all year. The work will be constant, but light. The learning will be vigorous, but relaxed!
Mr. K will be absent Thursday and Friday of this week, to have surgery. Any disciplinary problems noted by the substitute will be dealt with swiftly, even if Mr. K will not be swift of foot for some time.
Some notes:
1. Next quiz (6.5) will be Tuesdsay, November 24th.
2. Videos for use IN CLASS (no video homework this unit!!!). Feel free to use at home too! See below.
3. Other resources will be added to this post, as needed and warranted.
Have a great week!
