Good day to all!
As we begin a unit of word problem solving, we are reminded about the MANY strategies that can be used to solve a problem. Those strategies we've discussed are located on the chalkboard, and we will devise ways to show what these items LOOK LIKE in the classroom.
We'll be working through a 4-part classwork activity that will focus on using money, well-placed steps, and real-life situations. This will begin on Tuesdsay. Students were asked to bring circulars, catalogs, printed items, supermarket papers and the like to school on Tuesday.
MAP Test results and SOLO reports went home to students beginning today. If you haven't received this paperwork, let me know.
No BLUE BOOKS...yet. We will wait!
