Good day!
As we delve into our last standard before the upcoming midpoint (SOL 6.11; Coordinate Planes), we came to a realization the other day...this term, thus far, has been pretty easy! Not much in the form of tough math, which has given us the opportunity to do some great review with the last test, we've focused on vocabulary, a vitally important part of our math, and the quizzes have shown great improvement. We will continue this trend well after the midpoint; the next few standards relate to congruency, quadrilaterals, and then we actually do some REAL math....averages (mean, median, mode, range).
HOMEWORK THIS WEEK:
Monday- Pg 413, 5-7 and 17-20
Tuesday- Pg 420, 5-13 odd
Wed- Pg 420, 4-14 even
Thursday- Pg 420, 15-25 odd
Announcements:
Quiz on Tuesday (SOL 6.20)
Quiz on Tuesday- Vocab for SOL 6.3 and 6.20
Quiz on Friday- SOL 6.11
No PYG/MM for Blocks 2 and 3 this week (possible review day); Block 1 will be using Battleship games for math evaluation and relevance (ought to be fun!!!!)
